In the realm of menswear, RE;CODE engaged in a collaborative venture with the globally acclaimed designer Jiyong Kim. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in the UK, ranked among the world's top three fashion schools, Kim is distinguished for his collections that unveil discarded fabrics to natural light, yielding distinctive patterns that articulate a consciousness of clothing waste. Drawing inspiration from the shared commitment to sustainable fashion, RE;CODE found resonance in Jiyong Kim's approach of deconstructing inventory to craft collections with a meaningful purpose.

In this collaborative endeavor, Jiyong Kim conceived a product leveraging materials from Kolon FnC's inventory. The final creation was displayed on a mannequin and left exposed to natural sunlight for a period of two months. The intensity of sunlight exposure resulted in a distinctive color fading effect, prompting Kim to artfully design a tie-dye-like pattern using string. Employing a diverse range of stock items, including sweatshirts, safari jackets, and suit jackets, Kim skillfully crafted a novel vintage aesthetic, introducing a unique and unseen perspective to the original RE;CODE.
